WoodSpring Suites - Humble

The Humble, Texas location of this WoodSpring Suites reflects the development and rollout work of the brand’s new prototype design. The design intent of the new prototype and this corresponding location had multiple goals. First, it needed to differentiate WoodSpring Suites from the previously-known-as Value Place brand, and support the company’s new goal of broadening its customer base. Additionally, any design solutions selected needed to work alongside the new brand to communicate a more modern guest experience. The exterior design reflects stonework and a gabled canopy to create texture and dimension. On the interior, the team chose wood-like flooring and a blend of light and dark finishes to extend the modern nature of the design and bring a fresh aesthetic to this national hotel brand.
