Love.Life

El Segundo, California is home to the flagship location of Love.Life, a luxury health club that blends fitness, medical and nutrition amenities to create a holistic approach to wellness. The site began as a 45,000-square-foot big box retail space, which posed as a blank canvas with vast potential to explore the creation of this new brand. With an entirely new program in mind, the design became a collaboration with the client and the design reflects a commitment to the immersive Love.Life experience.

Love.Life contains a long roster of state-of-the-art amenities including a café with outdoor seating area, fitness center, pickleball courts, yoga studio, medical treatment and massage rooms, cold plunges, saunas and more. BRR designed the floor plan with curved walls to organically connect individual sections of the health club. A member can wander through the halls and discover fitness, medical and wellness, which invokes the client’s mission to integrate health in all forms.

The interior design aesthetic incorporates shades of blue, warm wood and earthy tiles to invoke key elements of the brand with a modern, natural, welcoming and fresh environment. Throughout the club, guests will discover circular relaxation spaces that feature organic elements like living moss walls and interior water features.

BRR was able to demonstrate its full architecture services throughout the Love.Life project. Nearly every service was executed in this development and the team pushed themselves to create an innovative and fresh architectural experience for the launch of the client’s new brand.
